Destinations by Design, Inc. (DBD) is proud to share the news of our very own, Melissa Aupperle, vice president operations, who will be recognized for “Outstanding Mentorship” at the 3rd Annual BIBO Awards in Las Vegas on Oct 08, 2016. BIBO, which stands for ‘Beauty In / Beauty Out’, was created by Author and Motivational Speaker Traci S. Campbell, whose goal is to recognize and celebrate the inner and outer beauty as well as the accomplishments of amazing women in various communities.

There are annual BIBO Awards ceremonies currently held in Chicago, Los Angeles and Las Vegas, each including a host of celebrity presenters and respected keynote speakers. Theses BIBO Awards will focus on celebrating the work and accomplishments of diverse women from all walks of life. Each ceremony is an opportunity to highlight the success of women who are making a difference in their city while having a deep, positive and lasting impact on their community.

Joining the DBD team as the fourth employee in 1991, Melissa has played an immensely important role throughout the company’s history, catapulting DBD’s reputation and continuously setting standards of excellence throughout the industry. Melissa is a native Las Vegan, a graduate of UNLV with a BS in Business Administration, a National Volunteer of Sigma Kappa Sorority and currently holds the position of Vice President of Operations at DBD. With experience in both sales and operations, Melissa brings a full-scope perspective as a company leader, continually educating, challenging and mentoring her operations team in direct response to the ever-changing hospitality industry in Las Vegas.
